Marin Dubard’s racy, mineral laden Sauvignon Blanc from Loire Valley vines not far from the hallowed vineyards of Sancerre offers much of the same crisp, focused and delicious character of the wines I love so much. Perfect for sushi, ceviche, tuna or salmon tartare, mild fish, shrimp and of course oysters on the half shell. Perfect all on its own too!
Why is it so good? It’s farmed, harvested and vinified just like much more expensive Sancerre or Pouilly Fumé, from rocky clay limestone soils.
