This whisky has gained all the savors from Savagnin, enhanced by all the different styles of Vin Jaune made by Stephane Tissot who is based at Montigny les Arsures: Chateau Chalon barrel has given the spicy and mellow savors, Les Bruyères barrels give minerality and acidity, la Mailloche barrels give a beautiful sotolon style. The blending of these 6 differents barrels made a beautiful, well balanced and complex whisky. It has a strong character as usual, full flavors but easy to drink. Approx 2500 bottles are made at natural strength, without water, bottled at 48% alc./vol. in February 2024.
